British Productions was founded by Catherine Darcy, a Producer with over 12 years’ experience delivering high-end work across broadcast television, radio, podcasts and brand-led film. She’s known for shaping strong ideas, protecting creative integrity, and delivering under pressure.

Catherine has produced extensively across the globe from Japan to South Africa, USA to Mongolia. Along the way, she’s collaborated with exceptional local fixers and international crews, gaining first-hand insight into what crews actually need when filming abroad.

British Productions was born from that experience, to offer a premium, reliable service for international teams filming in the UK. One that combines creative sensitivity with meticulous production support, calm problem-solving and a deep understanding on what a shoot requires.

From access and permissions to logistics, budgets and on-the-ground decision-making, Catherine brings clarity to complex productions and keeps things moving without drama. She’s trusted with large budgets, challenging locations and ambitious ideas and is known for making the difficult feel straightforward.
